Community and Care Internships

Our Community Care program will involve you in supporting local health services, education and other community services. Volunteers may bring their own knowledge and skills in the field and we will do our best to match those with current needs on our community.

Health service work may includes diseases prevention for example mosquito larvae eradication and holding seminars in schools and community centers. You could also find yourself supporting doctors and nurses with translating for foreign patients or translating clinic or hospital signs.

You could be helping at local orphanages, providing play and befriending roles for young children desperately in need of some contact and kindness.

Many other practical activities for supporting and developing local community are available and we know that both volunteers and the local people create a wealth of cross cultural knowledge and understanding, making this work a most rewarding experience.
